And there we go…another month gone by already. So many stamp sets to choose from made this months theme hard for me, but I finally decided to go for simple. This stamp set from Concord and 9th made it easy and then the next decision was colour! You can’t go wrong with a rainbow colour scheme.
I am entering this card in the current Inkspirational Challenge #219 with the theme of face. I have three super cute giraffe images from A Day for Daisies and as they are digital I can resize them. I enlarged this one so it took the central feature of the card.
I am entering this card in the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge – #447. I love the images from Lily of the Valley so I chose this winter themed one to colour with copics. I had some many ideas to include in this card and I love how it turned out.
I am entering this card in the current Inspired by Challenge – Fruity Sentiments. I have a few fruit based stamp sets but chose this one by Concord & 9th as it had a great sentiment I wanted to use. I ended up making a couple of cards (2nd one further down) but am entering this one as it is also based on the sketch.
Another month, another game to play along with. This month it’s Tic Tac Toe, so lets see what you can come up with. Here is my take on this challenge and I’ve used the masculine, die cuts and patterned paper column.
I made this card to enter into the current Seize the Birthday challenge #196 – Tic Tac Toe . I chose the first column of birds, one layer and a large sentiment. I have to say this card came together very quickly…probably because I didn’t overthink it (my usual cardmaking technique!!).
As part of a cardswap group I belong to, each month we are given a technique to make a card with. This month it is a “Scrappy Strip” technique. It is such an easy way to great a really cool background with the added bonus of using all those patterned papers you are hoarding or those scraps you don’t know what to do with!
Once I made the backgrounds I then used the colours in the papers to colour images for each card. I also had matching embellishments for the papers I used.
Of course my go to images for these cards were the Danielle Donaldson range of girls from Stamping Bella.
July is here already and a great new theme for this months challenge…create a 3D card. If you pop over to the AAA Birthday blog you will see the amazing 3D cards the Design Team have created and a special welcome toRachelleas this months guest designer…she has created another STUNNING card this month to inspire you.
