Here is the second birthday exploding box made a few months ago for 18 year old twins. I used the We R Memory Keepers explosion board, making 4 boxes in total. The small inner box was fixed so it could be used for adding a small keepsake rather than folding down.
Woohoo…I’ve found a super new way to use up my ever growing stack of patterned paper. It’s the easy peasy to use We R Memory Keepers explosion board. I know I could muck around with rulers etc and make my own but why waste my time…this board is fabulous.
A quick blog post today as I’m trying to get this entered before the deadline for the current Inspired by Challenge – Cele-bear-ate. I wanted to use up some of my patterned paper so took this opportunity to do just that. My inspiration was simply the bear and using the stripes and lines from the inspiration bear.
As part of a cardswap group I belong to, each month we are given a technique to make a card with. This month it is a “Scrappy Strip” technique. It is such an easy way to great a really cool background with the added bonus of using all those patterned papers you are hoarding or those scraps you don’t know what to do with!
Once I made the backgrounds I then used the colours in the papers to colour images for each card. I also had matching embellishments for the papers I used.
Of course my go to images for these cards were the Danielle Donaldson range of girls from Stamping Bella.
Hey everyone. I’m back with another layout to enter into White with 1 Cyber Crop on Facebook using the following Recipe:
1 photo
4 patterned papers
At least 3 flowers
Washi Tape (I don’t have many washi tapes and from the ones I do have none went with my colour scheme but I found a strip of washi tape sticker in an embellishment pack).
Hey everyone. This month Confessions of a Paper Addict etsy shop is having their first birthday and on their Facebook page they are having a number of scrapbooking challenges. The first challenge I am entering is “Using a Large Photo”.
Hey everyone. I purchased the Valentines cut file set from Paige Taylor Evans recently and used the stamps svg on this layout. The photo is of one of my dogs, Jessie, a mini schnauzer.
I decided to use rainbow colours and keep the embellishments tone on tone.
