A quick post to show a card I made recently using a cut file from Cut to You.

New card to enter into the current Inspired by challenge. I made the deadline this time!
I decided to use the colour scheme, frame, envelope and clothesline for my card.
Tip: When fussy cutting image by hand you can be left with the white core of the cardstock showing around the edge. Run a black marker around the outside edge of the image to hide the white. This can hide some not so perfect cutting as well.
Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.

A special card for a new baby. Any guesses which gender…
I’ve had this card in mind specifically for the new baby using this digital image ‘Row of boots‘ by Stamping Bella and love how it turned out. Simple copic colouring on boots and booties (digital image from Bugaboo). My Favorite Things Die-namics Congratulations Circle Frame cut out of white cardstock and coloured with copics to mtrch blue in boots. White heat embossed sentiment from My Favorite Things ‘Welcome Baby’.
Images cut out with Brother Scanncut and popped up with foam adhesives to give a bit of dimension. Background paper by Sugar and Spice Studio – Neon.
A little bit of silver, black and red glitter pens and ta dah…it’s finished.
I will be entering this card in the following challenges Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

Hi there
I tried out a new technique today that was inspired by a card I saw on Instagram made by Cards by Christine. I decided on an ocean theme and I wanted to use some Create a Smile stamps and a new set of Ocean wave dies from My Favorite Things.
It came together reasonably quickly apart from a couple of false starts with the image colouring. I also applied Wink of Stella clear shimmer to the two narwhols (haven’t worked out how to photograph shimmer yet). The two back layers of the waves and the mama (or papa) narwhol are behind the clear window with the baby and front panel adhered to the front.
The senitment is from Avery Elle “Bubbles” and I heat embossed it 3 times in Zing Embossing Powder colour “Wave” (appropriately named aye!) to give a bit of extra dimension.
The clouds from My Favorite Things are ink blended on the inside of the card in Tim Holtz Distress Ink “Salty Ocean” (again.. appropriate colour name!).
This card could be used for a overseas trip, new baby or birthday.
Thanks for stopping by.

I’m sure we all love a baby card. The sentiments in the My Favorite Things ‘Welcome Baby’ are so much fun and mix so well with the Lawn Fawn ‘Little Bundle’ images. I wanted something simple and clean…(pun intended 🙂 ). I thought by having a circle framed opening it would look like a front opening washing machine.
All the images are copic coloured in neutral colours for a boy or girl. I cut the grey frame with My Favorite Things Dienamics ‘Stitched Circle Frames‘ die 3 times and glued them together to create a raised element. As I was originally going to make it a shaker card I adhered a piece of transparency over the back of the opening but when I put it together I felt that the images didn’t ‘shake’ well so I changed it to the images simply being adhered to the background.
To add some texture to the card I used American Crafts textured cardstock (which I have a big stack of!!) for the frame and behind the clothes. I also popped up the cardfront with white craft foam and layered the clothes to give some extra dimension. I then stamped the sentiment in Altenew Crisp dye ink in ‘Lagoon’.
Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
