I am entering this card in the current Inkspirational Challenge #229 and the theme is something in your home. For the last two Christmas’s I’ve had a summer themed Christmas tree (see picture below) as we are in the southern hemisphere and I want to reflect the season. This is my entry for current The Card Concept challenge. I decided to try a Mixed Media style after watching some YouTube videos by Creations CeeCee and incorporated texture paste, watercolour and doodling. I was inspired by the baubles, the colour scheme (Is that navy in one of the candles?) and the filigree pattern. I also included the hand doodling to mimic the beads draped around the based of the candles.Continue reading
