A quick post to show a card I made recently using a cut file from Cut to You.

Background

I wanted to stitch around the outside of the speech bubbles so I created an offset line from the original svg on my Brother Scan n Cut and converted the cutting line to a piercing line. I have recently purchased the new paper piercing kit for the scan n cut and I’m loving it, so I’m sure you’ll see more stitching on future projects.

The cutfile was cut from pink cardstock and then sprayed with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Rose. I also coloured the three hearts with the colour shine by painting it on with a brush.

I applied Distress Oxide in Worn Lipstick to the edges of the two speech bubbles I wanted to pop up off the background.

I backed each bubble with patterned paper and added extra items to give interest to each bubble.
