Another card I made, this time using the Hot Air Balloon cut file from Cut to You.

Products used

- Cut to You Hot Air Balloon svg file
- Craftsmart Born to Travel 12 x 12 paper pad
- Anko mini tassels
Background
Balloon
- Cut svg file on my Brother Scan n Cut out of white card stock. I used a smooth 300gsm weight.
- The balloon and basket are then backed with patterned paper. I also painted a few of the banner pieces with red gold watercolour paint and pieced them back in the cut design.
Clouds
The paper pad had a sky pattern included so I used that as the base of the background. I cut the clouds out of the same paper and inked the inside pieces with distress oxide ink and adhered them to the background. The cut border of the clouds I cut out of white and adhered them back in place.

Sentiment
The ‘bon voyage’ sentiment was foiled with my Foil Quill using the draw function on my Scanncut. To create the shadow I had created an offset file from the original file and set that to cut.

The ‘Hello World’ sentiment was simply a part of a piece of the patterned paper pad.

Once I adhered everything I wanted to add one more gold accent and I had the perfect mini tassel to use so I attached it to the balloon. I also used a adhesive dot to make sure it didn’t move around too much.
Hope you like this creation.
Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
