Hello everyone
Today I’m showcasing a box card I created recently. Stamping Bella ‘Bubble Chicks’ are the featured images which I coloured with Copics. I wanted to create the effect of the chicks and bubbles floating high above the ground so used die cut tree shapes by My Favorite Things ‘Trees in the Forest’ to create a tree top effect. They are diecut out of cardstock that I had ink blended with Ranger Distress Inks and then splashed water drops over to create a mottled effect.

The house and clouds were die cut with My Favorite Things ‘Home Sweet Home’. The floating effect is achieved by used 250gsm binding cover acetate cut into small strips. This weight of cover is very sturdy.

All of the sky sections were ink blended with Ranger Distress Inks.

I had found the perfect wintery image in my stash of Unity Stamp Company Kit of the Month Sept 2016 ‘Moments between Moments‘. I stamped it in the three colours of the challenge in Distress Ink first and then used my water brush to soften and spread the colours. The white was the card base. As I had used my MISTI to stamp the image and had left the stamp in place, once I was happy with the colours I placed the card back into my MISTI and restamped with Versafine Onyx Black. I deepened some of the shading with watered down distress ink then stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed with Zing Metallic Blue.
